Market Update from Diego Traglia – Labour Weekend Recap

After the first long weekend in a while, Kiwis celebrated Labour Weekend, with many heading out of town. However, not everyone was away! On average, we saw 3.2 groups per property across Auckland property for sale this past weekend—focusing on quality over quantity.

The real estate Auckland market continues to show strong improvement, with some exciting activity over the weekend. 6 offers were received on a plaster home, a multi-offer was facilitated on a townhouse, and we negotiated 15 offers, with 4 properties successfully going under contract. It’s clear that auctions and negotiations are highly effective in this market.

With only 8 weeks until Christmas, if you're considering selling your property for sale in Auckland, you may have missed the pre-holiday window unless everything is lined up. For those still planning, it may be more strategic to aim for January 2025 to list your property.

As your trusted partner at Harcourts Auckland, I’m here to help you navigate the real estate Auckland market. Though this is a short week after the holiday, it’s already shaping up to be a busy and productive one!
